The princely state of Rajpipla with its more than 800 years old royal tradition of the Gohil Dynasty is a place as rich with well preserved Royal customs as it is blessed with natural beauty. With a unique blend of Rajput culture and the folklore of the hill tribes popularly know as Bhils, the state has a rich history of shared patriotism and loyalty to the land. Three titles of the Royal Museum Trinity of Rajpipla clearly indicate three very important aspects of this culturally rich state.

Tribal Museum
An effort to preserve and document the distinct but quickly vanishing lifestyle of the tribal people, this museum reveals some interesting features of tribal life.
The rich collection in the Museums portrays the glory and achievements of the royal past of the princely state of Rajpipla. It has become possible to have a glimpse of the history and tradition well preserved in the royal family of Rajpipla as Smt. Rukmini Devi, Former Maharani Rajpipla and Rajkumari Jaisalmer took the initiative and converted a part of the their royal palace to create these museums for the benefit of scholars, researches and for interested visitors from all walks of life. This is another gesture of fulfilling their obligation towards the society. Inaugurated on the World Museum Day in 1994, the Royal Museum Trinity of Rajpipla, functioning under the auspices of Shri Laximathji Trust has attracted a constant flow of interested people from various places. The total number by now has already exceeded 20,000 visitors.
